Boo hoo, Ralph Nader decides to run for president and Obama starts whining right away. Says Nader shouldn’t run because he’ll screw up the election.
Now I don’t know about you but I thought anyone who met the qualifications was free to run for president. I also thought the more people we had to choose from the better off we would be.
The more ideas we have and the more solid skills and experience we have the better off we, as a country, are going to be. Obama said Nader cost Al Gore the presidency and that he is divisive.
So? Why is Nader any more divisive than anyone else running. Perhaps the real reason Obama is bitching is much more personal. With Nader running it reduces Obama’s chance to get elected.
Obama also attacked Clinton with a string of misleading ads. Then had the balls to say everything the ads said was technically true. Sounds to me like he’s been taking lessons from the Republican spin doctors and Carl Rove in particular.
Personally I doubt Obama is capable of managing the country effectively let alone the rest of the world. Oh well, he can get advisors to guide him. Hmmm, didn’t that same thing get said about Geroge Bush, the current president. Turns out his advisors didn’t help much as they all had their own agendas so now we are in a big mess because George wasn’t smart enough to figure it out.
I suspect Obama won’t figure out the complexities of the world any faster than Bush did. I doubt he’ll be able to deal with the recession we are now in. Change can be a good thing but willy nilly change just for change sake is the mark of an idiot.
I want to see the plans for change, how are the changes going to be paid for and first and foremost, What the hell is he going to change? Experience means you know what needs to be changed and how to change it. Obama doesn’t have the experience to do that so if he’s elected what we will have is a foundering presidency that’s not that much better than the fools we now have in office.
