It would seem Barack Obama is your typical politician. He resigned from his church while blaming he media for turning his church into a circus. Good luck with that.
Obama fails to understand that his association with the circus that is his church is what’s hurting him. He fails to understand that his continued membership in that church is what hurt him.
He fails to understand that when his pastor, Reverend Wright, comes across as someone who could just as well be a militant muslim, anti American calling for the downfall of America, it hurts him to be associated with that.
He fails to understand that people wonder how much of that anti American stuff rubbed off on him and that if he’s been a member for 20 years he must believe the same things. If you go to a church where things like that are being said you must agree with them or you wouldn’t go anymore. Certainly not for 20 years.
He fails to understand that the church where he worships and the beliefs he professes to have aren’t the same as everyone else’s. He fails to understand that if he goes there and has those beliefs Americans are going to be afraid.
The media made his church a circus? Nah, his church was a circus with Reverend Wright. Rev Wright made it a circus with his behavior and the media reported on it. The visiting pastor mocking Hillary Clinton made it a circus. Barack was a member of a circus. The media didn’t make it a circus. The church did.
Why blame the media for what the Pastors or visiting minister of his church do? That’s a copout, just like every other politician. It ain’t my fault, the media did it. Yeah right.
Come on now. We judge people by who their friends are. You won’t let your kids run around with kids you consider bad or who have behavior you don’t want your children to emulate. Why? Because you know if your kids hang around with other bad kids they are going to pick up the bad habits and beliefs of the kids they hang around with.
You want to get your kids out of that situation as soon as possible because of the negative influence and peer pressure. You know if you don’t they will start acting just like their friends and leaders.
Is Obama so naive to believe that he’s any different. If you hang around with or visit a place regularly, for twenty years, you are going to pick up the beliefs and attitudes your peers have. Sheesh, that’s a no brainer.
It’s also what scares people. Nothing new there at all. If you are a member of an organization that calls for the overthrow of this country, damns this country and mocks the potential leaders of this country I’d have to say this is what you feel is right.
Remember JFK and the big deal it was because he was a Catholic. He constantly had to fight peoples fears that if he was elected the Pope would be running this country. That scared a lot of people. Baracks church scares a lot of people.
When you have ministers that call for damning America, when you have ministers openly mocking others and dancing around like the have St Vitus, when you have ministers that don’t act ministerial you don’t have a church, you have a circus.
While I’m not particularly religious I know how ministers are supposed to act. They are supposed to obey the laws of God. They are supposed to obey the 10 commandments. They aren’t supposed to act like circus clowns and be small minded.
Seems to me like Baracks church likes to cast the first stone without realizing they are as bad as the people they are casting stones at. When supposedly holy men don’t follow Gods laws and rules they are no longer ministers, they are hypocrites.
When they act like cartoon characters you can expect the media to report on it. When a member of congress running for president is a member of a cartoon church you can expect the media to report on it.
You are judged by who you associate with. Baracks longtime association calls into doubt his ability to make proper decisions. He’s been influenced for 20 years by the same church. You can’t tell me some of those beliefs haven’t rubbed off on him.
I have no use and no respect for people who set themselves up as doing Gods work and then do what seems more like the devils work. The one and only religious person I ever heard of that I had respect for was Mother Teresa. She lived the bible instructions and did as the bible instructs.
She didn’t wear fancy clothes and prance around a pulpit like Yosemite Sam with ants in his pants. She didn’t wear fancy clothes or run a fancy church. She did what God asked and helped those who need help. Is this not what religious people are supposed to do.
The media did NOT make Baracks church a circus, they just reported on what a circus it really was and what kind of cartoon characters were in charge of his church.
What bothers me more than anything is why didn’t he resign from that church long ago. If you don’t agree with something you don’t go to it for 20 freaking years.
All of the denials Barack makes just completely ring hollow. All of the blame he places on the media for causing it makes him just another politician trying to pull the wool over the sheeples eyes.
Lol, Barack says McCain doesn’t want to be associated with Bush. Sure can’t blame McCain for that can you? Barack shouldn’t want to be associated with cartoon ministers either but he sure fought hard to stay with them.
It was his choice and that’s what scares me.
