Alternative Energy Sources and Alternative Fuels

The experts agree, gun control works. However it depends on which expert you talk to and what they mean by ‘works’. IMO gun control is essential because if I can’t control my gun I’m not going to be on target with the second, third and fourth shots.

I’ve been watching all the shooting stories on TV news lately and some are downfight pathetic. The idiot who shot all the people at the graduation ceremony first and foremost. The woman at the convenience store who fought off two robbers because she reached for her own gun. BTW, she was better armed than the robbers who came in. She didn’t have a wimpy little ass 9 mil, she had a big freaking 44 revolver. That’s a serious gun.

Gun control statistics and perceptions are skewed by the media as they seldom report on anyone who successfully defends themselves with a gun. It happens everyday but you and I seldom hear about it.  That’s to bad because it is a fact on gun control.

I love to hear about the towns that pass laws making it mandatory to carry a gun.  I’m not totally against gun control but current gun control laws are a joke. I do think everyone should carry a gun tho. Imagine how many killings wouldn’t have happened if everyone else had a gun too.

It’s dam hard for one person to go into a place and shoot 20 people when there are 5000 people in the place who can shoot back. Lol, yeah, we’d have a few idiots but they wouldn’t last long and good riddance to them.

Pros cons of gun control can be argued for years but while y’all are arguing I’m going to keep my guns and keep them handy. I might be old and somewjat fargile but I can still apply a couple of pounds of force to a trigger and hit my target.

I was raised around and with guns, been around them all my life and have used them for most of my life. To me they are just another tool. Not all that much different than a hammer or a saw. They just have the ability to do harm at a longer distance.

Funny thing is with all the shots fired every year few are hit. Your chances of getting hit beyond 10 feet away are about as good as you getting hit by a thrown hammer at 25 feet. Lol, most people can throw a hammer more accurately than most people can shoot.

What I want you to think about is how much different people would behave if they thought everyone else had a gun. I suspect people would be a lot nicer if they knew everyone else had a gun.

I occassionally carry a gun when I go out, depends on where I’m going. Wanna rob me, wanna jack my car, wanna hurt me or my girlfriend? Sorry, you lose.  My guns have saved me more than once and I expect they will again.

Say what you want about gun control, I’m keeping mine and I’m using it to protect myself when I need to. Wanna break into my house while I’m sleeping. Cool but remember this, you aren’t going to get anything but a quick trip to the morgue. As it should be. To end this little post, as the song says “Don’t fuck with me and mine” cause if ya do you won’t live to see the results.
