Oil, mortgages and politics

Wow, politics is funny. Florida wants a do over on it’s pimary. Better yet it wants someone else to pay for it. Looks like Florida is going to be an anarchy hot spot for this century. At least it’s good for comic relief.

Damn, now the price of oil is up because the dollar is down and investor are investing in oil as a hedge against inflation. It must be just lovely to be big oil with Dubya as president. All of their wildest dreams come true. Charge through the nose for it and reinvest your excess profits back into it driving the price ever higher.

Somehow sounds Eronesque doesn’t it? Kill the economy, screw the people and get rich at the same time. Oh, yeah, almost forgot, lets take all the rights of the people away so they can’t bitch about what we are doing and lets illegaly eavesdrop on them at the same time so we can catch them bitching. Shades of Richard Nixon.

Then there’s the mortgage mess. I see the socialist republic of Minnesota wants to stop all repossesions of homes, for one year. What the feds gonna do? Same as they did for New Orleans. Nothing. The rich are getting theirs, why would they care if you get any unless they’re trying to figure out how to get it away from you.

Bush says, according to the news, We don’t want to hurt the lenders, ROTF, hurt the lenders? The greedy bastards did it to themselves, now do something to help the families the lenders tried to screw.

BTW, gas usage is down in the USA over the last two weeks or so.
