No slip clothes hangers – Have hangers been neutered?
What the hell happened to clothes hangers? Now we have plastic hangars, wood coat hangers and more. What the hell happened to the good old wire clothes hanger?
Why do we buy “no slip clothes hangers” when my grandmother taught me to tie a small rubber band on each side of a wire coat hanger to make it no slip.
What I really want to know is what happened to wire coat hangers. Where did they go? Were they from another planet and CH went home? Where the hell did all these plastic crap clothes freaking hangers come from and why do we have to pay for them?
They aren’t good for a damn thing but hanging up clothes. Boring. You can’t wire up a muffler with them, you can’t make a drain cleaner with one of them, you can’t hot wire your car with one. What the hell good are plastic hangers.
While plastic hangers are here now I doubt they will last long before they go out of existance. The problem is plastic hangers don’t seem to multiply. Wire hangers mulitplied. It woould seem that wire hangers had a lot more unprotected sex than plastic ones do.
Either that or plastic has evolved beyond the need to reproduce. Either way, there ain’t no extra plastic ones running around. Buy hangers? Say what? We used to throw hangers out.
See what happens when eveloution goes to far, even plastic clothes hangers quit having sex and become non existant in the wild. The wire coat hanger is on the verge of extinction. Sheesh, I held cars together with duct tape and coat hangers. Alas, no more. (;
