However, with emissions regulations becoming more and more strict hybrids can save consumers cash in vehicle testing fees as well.

Do you happen to know if there are any solar powered security systems or cameras. I can see several drawbacks but with a good system and in a place with no electricity I can see it working out quite well. Much better than nothing even with the solar power problems.
