When I’m on the net two things tend to really piss me off. One is the damn unblockable popups that never end and the other is someone screwing with my back button.
Freaking dumb ass Walmart evidently thinks they are going to sell more crap to everyone who visits their website if they get rid of everything in your back button. That’s just plain amateurish bullshit and pisses more people off than they make extra sales.
So when a site pisses me off bad enough, like walmart, I make a post about it. Walmarts website sucks, walmart sucks for doing it and any other site that messes with your browser in any way should be avoided like the plague.
What walmart does to the back button is just plain evil, underhanded and nefarious. Of course there are lots of people who think that’s their modus operandi anyway so it’s not really surprising. Heh, lots of people think Google or Microsoft is the evil empire but imo it’s walmart.
Despite what they say, if you look around a little bit you can find prices for the same items much cheaper at other stores. Groceries really comes to mind. Some of their groceries are cheap but the vast majority are proced higher than a normal grocery store. MOF, some of their grocery proces are higher than convenience stores and there never used to be any one higher than a damn C store.
They’ve got everyone brainwashed now that they’ve gotten rid of most of their competition. Of course this is what people warned about when walmart started their huge expansion plans years ago and it’s also why there were fights in a lot of communties about letting walmart in. Lol, I’ll bet the ones who kept them out are doing better than the towns that didn’t.
Their policy of searching bags or making you stand in line 30 feet from where you went through the checkout lane so they can mark your damn ticket is absurd, too. I paid for the crap I shouldn
‘t have to stand inline so they can make sure I didn’t steal anything in the 30 feet from the register to the senior citizen greeter.
Of course what else would you expect from people who think it’s good business tomess with your browser. Walmart thinks thats good business but they are going to completely lose me as a customer if they don’t change their ways. They’ve lost most of my business anyway so I don’t imagine they’ll miss what little I do spend there.
I doubt Sam would agree with their current tactics and he’s probably spinning in his grave.
Of course all of this is just my opinion. IMO Walmart sucks!
